This itinerary leaves from via Assarotti. This is one of the roads that leads from the hills above the town into the hisorical town centre. This road takes you to Piazza Manin, and the Casella Railway station. The Castelletto esplanade is famous for the Belvedere Montaldo Viewing point. This panoramic view point looks over the whole of the old town centre and the Old Port, as far as the hills of Carignano and Castello and the modern towers of Corte Lambruschini and San Benigno.
