International Boat Show 2016

From September 20^th to September 25^th, Genoa is hosting the 56^th Internation Boat Show. During the event, the city will become the capital of navigation and sea. Will be displayed for visitors the latest previews of international yachting.

The exhibition, set up over the sea as a reference point for marine industry, is going to host many contents, opportunities and real experiences, with 120 scheduled events and a look ahead to the future.

This year’s edition, in fact, is dedicated to the Italian Olympic Team’s homage in Rio 2016 and to Rome’s 2024 Olympic Games Candidature. Visitors will experience the passion for the sea and water sports testing the boats and partecipating in many special activities.

The programme includes many events in Teatro del Mare, starting with the opening conference Italia, future on Tuesday, September 20^th and the exhibition Renato “Sonny’” Levi – Milestones of yacht design, organised by University of Genoa and Fondazione Promostudi from La Spezia.
Friday, September 23^rd will be dedicated to fishing. Saturday, September 24^th Teatro del Mare will be hosting the Boat of the Year Prize and the Shipowner of the Year Prize. There will be also initiatives in the frame of Genova in blue.
